There have been a few developments since Wednesday’s meeting of the Grove Hill Park Commission. Thanks to your support, it’s looking a little more likely that Grove Hill Park will be built this year.
May Meeting Scheduled
The next meeting of the Grove Hill Park Commission has been schedule for May 29 at 8:30 am. As I’ve said again and again, I believe regular meetings with clear communication about project progress are critical to its success. I hope they continue to happen.
Village Website Updated
The village’s Capital Improvement Projects page for Grove Hill Park Improvements has been updated with the latest information, for the first time since September 8, 2023.
Bid Process Accelerated
Best of all, the bid preparation and advertisment has been fast-tracked. The village engineering firm was surveying on the property this morning. The bids are expected to be advertised no later than the end of May, increasing the chances that the park will be completed in 2024.
As we enter the fifth year of this project, I continue to be grateful to everyone in the community who rallied around the effort to create this park. Thank you!
