Village Council Late October Meeting

Village Council met Monday evening to repeal some code, approve some festivities, and get our first look at the 2026 budget.

Volunteer Senior Citizens Help Line

Council passed Ordinance 2025-56 which repeals Codified Ordinances Chapter 959, a well-intentioned but never-implemented plan from 2008 to create a Volunteer Senior Citizens Help Line.

Festival of Trees

Council also approved an event application for the return of the Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce Festival of Trees in Riverside Park.

2026 Village Budget

Village Director of Finance Angela Gergye distributed copies of the village budget for 2026 (PDF, see p. 7). A meeting of the Committee of the Whole Council has been scheduled for November 3rd to review in detail
